Hi, I'm Ben.

I'm a Sunshine Coast-based cinematographer and I have a passion for making films. 

​

I've been honored to work with some incredible people along my journey so far and have worked all over the world making films from documentary to music video clips.

​

I started my career as a professional saxophone player and transitioned to filmmaking after running a recording studio for five years.  Many of my recording clients required video content from their sessions and I got hooked on being behind the camera.

Thanks to my music background, I have gravitated towards music video clips for the majority of my freelance work.  I love music videos because they are like mini-movies with an incredible soundtrack!  Even if you're not the biggest fan of the song at the start of the process, you'll have it stuck in your head by the time we wrap!

Beyond music videos, I love working on narrative projects, films, and TVC's. I work best in a crew, especially when there are complicated problems to be solved.
